

The sharp fall in the Internet connection occurred in the capital of Kabul, as well as Herat in the west of the country and Kandahar in the south.
The International Organization for Monitoring the Internet Netblocks explained to the agency that the network in Afghanistan began to be disconnected in stages on September 29. At the last stage, telephone services were disconnected, which use the overall infrastructure with the Internet.

The Afghan portal Tolo News writes that due to disconnecting the Internet in Kabul there were problems with banking services, as the connection between the Central Bank of Afghanistan and private financial institutions was interrupted. ATMs do not work, the number of customers is growing in banks.
The publication notes that the authorities of Afghanistan have not yet commented on what was happening.
