The dates for the finals of the International Olympiad on Financial Security in Krasnoyarsk have been announced

Final The VI International Olympiad on Financial Security will be held in Krasnoyarsk with September 27 to October 2, 2026. Regional Governor Mikhail Kotyukov reported on preparations for the event at a meeting of the organizing committee chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.

Last year, the final was held in Krasnoyarsk for the first time and brought together about 600 participants from 40 countries. This year, up to 700 schoolchildren and students from more than 40 countries are expected. The key topic of the Olympiad will be artificial intelligence, namely its “light and dark sides.” The site will again be the Siberian Federal University.

As noted by the head of Rosfinmonitoring, Yuri Chikhanchin, the final week program includes educational, professional, cultural and sports tracks. Traditionally, there will be a forum of the International Movement for Financial Security, a meeting of the board of the International Network Institute and BRICS events. In the Year of the Unity of the Peoples of Russia, the traditions of different nationalities will be presented at the Olympics in Colors festival, and the sports program will include a physical tournament, basketball and traditional games of the peoples of Russia.

Mikhail Kotyukov said that the road map has already been approved, and comprehensive preparation of the infrastructure is underway. Particular attention will be paid to youth involvement and financial education. The topic of financial security will become a cross-cutting topic at the Biryusa forum, and the specialized session “FinHealthy Lifestyle” will receive a more intensive program.

At the meeting, they also supported the idea of ​​holding an international summer school on financial security in Krasnoyarsk synchronously with the Biryusa forum, and a winter school on the federal territory of Sirius during the Congress of Young Scientists. The Olympiad tasks will be translated into English, Chinese, Arabic, French and Spanish.
