Israel in favor of the death penalty for “terrorists”. The first vote passed the Knesset


“It is proposed that a terrorist convicted of murder motivated by racism or hatred of society, in circumstances where the act was committed with the intent to harm the State of Israel, should be sentenced to death – mandatory,” a statement from the National Security Committee said. The committee clarified that the aim of the law is to “annihilate terrorism at its source and create a strong deterrent.”
