In January, shipments of loaded containers from KrasRussian Railway stations for export increased by 6.9%

In January 2026, 10.7 thousand loaded TEU containers were sent for export from Krasnaya Railway stations. This is 6.9% more than in January 2025.

In total, in the first month of the year, 15.5 thousand loaded and empty TEU containers were transported across all types of traffic, which is 17.7% less than the result of the same period last year.

The number of loaded containers sent in all types of traffic in January amounted to 11.4 thousand TEU, with an increase of 1.8% (207.8 thousand tons of cargo transported).

At the same time, there was an increase in container transportation:

• non-ferrous metals – 4.5 thousand TEU (1.5 times increase);
• grains – 695 TEU (+29.7%);
• chemicals and soda – 642 TEU (+25.1%);
• other and groupage cargo – 263 TEU (+35.6%);
• food products – 253 TEU (+4.1%);
• non-ferrous ores and sulfur raw materials – 196 TEU (3 times increase).
