The Portuguese Vitor Pereira (57 years old) will become the fourth coach of the Nottingham Forest in this season. His former technician Wolves has already reached an agreement with the club and will replace Sean Dyche (54), dismissed the other day.

Wolves started the season under Pereira, who the club parted ways with in November. The Portuguese had previously managed to save the team from relegation.

An advantage for Vitor Pereira is his previous professional relationship with Forest's owner Evangelos Marinakis. Pereira worked under the Greek businessman at Olympiakos.

Marinakis is known for quick decisions on the technical bench. In the current season, Nottingham was trained, in addition to Dyche, by Ange Postecoglou, and previously by Nuno Espirito Santo.

The boss sacked Nuno in September after just three games this season, with the coach saying his relationship with Marinakis had deteriorated despite finishing seventh and qualifying for the European Cup last season.

His successor, Ange Postecoglou, lasted just 39 days, failing to win any of his eight league games, recording two draws and six defeats.

Dyche's arrival seemed to bring stability, with seven wins in his first 12 games, but a recent run of poor results has led to this outcome.

Next Thursday, Nottingham Forest will play the first match of the play-off for the round of 16 of the Europa League, away, at Fenerbahce's ground. The priority, however, remains saving from relegation to the Premier League.

Forest are three points clear of the relegation zone with 12 games remaining in the season.

Pereira began his coaching career in 2004 at Portuguese club Sanjoanense, and after experiences in Germany, China, Brazil and Saudi Arabia, he is preparing for his 15th job.
