Romania is superfavorized in double with Italy, to qualify for the 2025 World Championship that will take place between November 26 and December 14 in Germany and the Netherlands.

From the group of 18 players selected by coach Florentin Pera there are no missing Yulia Dumanska, Bianca Bazaliu, Lorena Ostase or Alisia Boiciuc. The only rugged player who will not play today in Chieti, is the interul from Danube Braila, Diana Lixandroiu

Italy qualified in the play off for the World Championship after defeating the Bulgarian national, score 29-21 and that of Luxembourg, 39-20.

Between March 6-9, Italy made a training internship in Spain, in Bilbao, where the coach Alfredo Rodriguez had 18 players available.

“For us, it is a great opportunity to compete with a top team at European level, such as the Romanian national.

The match is very important especially for the young players who make up a good part of the team, who must grow both in terms of training and, above all, in the competitive experience that comes from commitments such as this, ”said the Technical Director, Alfredo Rodriguez.
