“I'm going to visit Venezuela,” Trump announced.
He added that the issue of the date of the trip is still being decided.
Trump said the United States has a “very good relationship” with Venezuela's interim President Delcy Rodriguez.
“We work very closely together,” he emphasized.
According to Trump, major US oil companies are starting their work in Venezuela.
“They will extract oil and sell it for a lot of money, and Venezuela will receive a significant part of this money,” the American president noted.
