1 million rubles of illegal income was recovered from a former Krasnoyarsk policeman

The prosecutor's office managed to recover 1 million rubles from a former police officer. The prosecutor's office of the Krasnoyarsk region reported this.
Previously, the court found the man guilty of fraud. According to the prosecutor's office, he convinced the citizen that for money he could influence the decision to initiate a criminal case. The remuneration amount was 1 million rubles. The former police officer received the money and spent it on personal needs.
For fraud he was sentenced to 3 years in prison. The man was also stripped of the rank of police major and banned from holding positions in law enforcement for 2 years.
After this, the prosecutor's office filed a lawsuit to recover the illegally obtained money for the state. The court agreed with the arguments of the supervisory authority and decided to recover the entire amount from the former policeman.
The implementation of the decision is under the control of the prosecutor's office.
