In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a man decided to conclude a contract with the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in order to avoid criminal punishment for stabbing. This was reported in the United press service of the courts of the region.

According to investigators, in August 2024, a conflict occurred in a cafe on a 3.5 kilometer of the Dubino-Ivanovka road between a man and three more visitors to the catering establishment. On the street between them a fight started, and the attacker hit one of his offenders with a knife on the head. After that, the armed man returned to the cafe, quarreled with the stranger and cut his hand.

In relation to the attacker, a criminal case was opened under paragraph “h” part 2 of Art. 111, p “h” part 2 of Art. 112 of the Criminal Code. The man was detained in custody, for some time he was in a pre-trial detention center, but then he was changed by a preventive measure. So he found himself under the belief.

“The defendant for a long time, in good faith, was together with his defender in all court sessions appointed by the court, however, on April 10, 2025 he did not appear at the meeting, while information was received from the defender of the defendant that he left for military service in connection with the conclusion of the contract,” the Sharypovsky district court said.

According to preliminary data, the man really concluded a contract for the service, but subsequently dodged it. Currently, judicial requests have been sent to various bodies in order to clarify the location of the defendant and clarify his status of a soldier.
