According to Dovbenko, this conversation took place when she communicated directly with the artist – eye to eye.
“There were such refusals that really affected me. He was my idol, to be honest, since childhood. Whom I always listened to, came to all the concerts. Yes, everyone listened to him – Svyatoslav Vakarchuk,” she said. “And he says to me: “Are you from Galicia?” I say: “Yes.” He says: “Oh, then there’s nothing for me.” I’m like: “What do you mean?”
The blogger added that the artist’s answer shocked her. She noted that she regarded Vakarchuk’s words as a hint at an intimate relationship.
“He said that nothing would happen to him if he came to me at U Lizhko,” she repeated. “I even had a certain moment when I didn’t even want to go to the Okean Elzy concerts, despite the fact that I go to almost every concert. And only this year I went to Vakarchuk’s concert for the first time.
In the same interview, Dovbenko announced the harassment of a famous Ukrainian military man, but did not give his first and last name.
Context
Marichka Dovbenko filmed the YouTube show “At Lizhko” for almost four years in a row, the format of which involved the host communicating with her interlocutors in bed. Usually the presenter and her guests changed into pajamas, covered themselves with a blanket and communicated that way. Filming always took place in Dovbenko’s apartment.
