Specialists of the Krasnoyarsk center public health and medical prevention told about methods of preventing cardiovascular diseases.
According to experts, the heart is the central organ of blood circulation, which supports the functioning of all body systems. Therefore ehealth strengthening is the basis of long-term health. The duration and quality of a person’s life depends on the state of the cardiovascular system.
Cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of premature loss of ability, disabilityness and mortality worldwide. At the same time, they often develop secretly, without visible symptoms, and their first manifestations are serious complications, such as a heart attack or stroke.
Basic methods for preventing heart disease are available to everyone. First of all, this ismoderate physical activity – at least 150 minutes per week. It is also important to have a balanced diet, controlling the level of fats in the blood, maintaining a normal weight and combating obesity. It is necessary to regularly monitor blood pressure and heart rate, and stop smoking and alcohol, which are key risk factors. In addition, undergo medical examinations and preventive medical examinations in a timely manner.
