Athletes from the Boguchanskaya HPP performed brilliantly in a series of competitions dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day.
For the first time, the station staff held a corporate tournament among men's teams in a new discipline – floor curling. The power engineering team won a triumphant victory in the volleyball tournament and performed convincingly at the “Come on, guys!” competition, which combined sports disciplines, creative and intellectual tasks.
The volleyball tournament became another meeting of principle rivals: the current champions of the city – a team of educational institutions, the team of the city of Kodinsk and the team of power engineers. This time the Boguchanskaya HPP team left no chance for their opponents and won all the matches, confirming their high skill, team spirit and will to win.
For the first time in the history of the enterprise, a corporate tournament in floor curling was held – a new sport that is rapidly gaining popularity in the Kezhemsky district. Team discipline for gyms requires participants not only to throw accurately and have an eye, but also to think strategically. Five teams competed on two tracks for several hours. Following a tense struggle, the “Gidroremont-VKK” team won the gold. Silver medals went to the Equipment Monitoring Service, and an honorable third place was taken by the team of several divisions of HPP Energia.
In the tournament “Come on, guys!”, which was held in the Kezhemsky district for the third time, classic sports competitions (kettlebell press, bench lift, basketball “biathlon”) were combined with new tests. The teams had to compete in such disciplines as assembling and disassembling a machine gun, a historical quiz, throwing a tennis ball and even ballroom dancing, while the participant in one form or another was determined not by skills and past sports experience, but by a draw. Despite the will of chance, the team of the Boguchanskaya HPP performed successfully at certain stages and showed readiness for new starts, among which will be the regional GTO festival.
The management and staff of Boguchanskaya HPP JSC pay constant attention to the development of sports. The station’s budget annually allocates funds for sports and recreational activities; station employees and their families actively participate in city and regional competitions and represent the Kezhemsky district at tournaments of various levels.
In 2025, power engineers became winners of the first regional swimming tournament, the XXXVI Kodinsky ski marathon, the RusHydro Spartakiad in three sports and other competitions. In November and December, the Boguchanskaya HPP organized a Spartakiad in several sports for residents of the Kezhemsky district, in which the power engineering team took 1st place in the most prestigious team competition.
