Assessing the performances of the national selection finalist, Ruslana advised him “not to bring in the company,” but to start performing “Hutsul songs.”
Context
Laud took part in the Ukrainian national selection with the song Lightkeeper. According to the results of voting by the jury and spectators, he took second place.
The winner of the national selection was the singer Leleka (Victoria Leleka) with the song Ridnym. The jury members gave the singer the maximum 10 points, and she also received 10 points from the audience. She will represent Ukraine at Eurovision 2026 in Vienna (Austria).
