The village of Kuldur is located in a valley surrounded by a chain of beautiful mountains, amidst a reigning green landscape. On February 7, 1924, an elementary school opened in the village.
In 1939, a new school was built, in which children from grades 1 to 7 studied, and various clubs operated at the school.
Since 1953, the school became a secondary school. There was a carpentry club at school. The guys made wonderful furniture for sale: chests of drawers, tables, bookcases, chairs, stools. The school took prizes at competitions.
In 1964, a new, more modern school building was erected. Since 1968, search work was carried out at the school; a local history museum was created at the school, which was one of the best in the region, region, region.
Since 2007, the school has been implementing the “Talented Children” (6+) program. In 2012, modern equipment was installed in primary classes, lessons are conducted in accordance with new standards.

The newspaper “Birobidzhanskaya Zvezda” (12+) wrote that in the Birsky district (now Obluchensky) there is a rich deposit of white and rare pink marble, and not far from the village of Kuldur a very rare breed of green marble was discovered.
“Green marble discovered in our region has exceptional properties, a color rarely found in nature. They learned about it in Moscow and asked us for test lots. There, the marble was processed and tested for thermal conductivity, frost resistance and electrical conductivity. The all-Union championship was recognized for the texture of green and pink marble from the Jewish Autonomous Region. A number of Moscow organizations became interested in the marble of our region, in particular Metrostroy and the construction of the Palace of the Soviets. Metrostroy ordered us two carriages of green marble for the second stage of the Kaganovich metro. Metrostroy decided to help our region build a marble processing plant.

Equipment for this plant was manufactured in Moscow and has already been sent to the region. The marble factory will be built in 1936 in Birakan, near the green marble deposit. 200 thousand rubles were allocated for the construction of the plant. The plant is designed for 300 workers, who will mainly consist of displaced people. Already in the first year of its existence, the plant will produce products worth 1 million rubles.”

The newspaper “Birobidzhanskaya Zvezda” informed readers that in honor of the XVIII Party Conference, a large ski trip for athletes (6+) of the Molniya sports society was launched. The teams include the best Stakhanovites and athletes from enterprises.

“Skiers will follow the route: Birobidzhan – Kazanka – Nadezhdinsk – Lazarevo – Babstovo – Leninsk – Novoe – Dezhnevo – Bidzhan – Ventselevo – Preobrazhenovka and back through other settlements. The entire route is about 375 kilometers. In each settlement, skiers will help check the progress of the competition named after the XVIII Party Conference, check the readiness of communication enterprises to serve the population during the days of the conference. They will also will help grassroots Molniya teams and Komsomol organizations in holding cross-country skiing.”

The newspaper “Birobidzhan Star” wrote that the 19th regional party conference was held in the city Palace of Culture. “Created in April 1970, in just a few months the orchestra mastered the most difficult program, consisting of works of world classics and modern music. This is the result of the enormous work of a wonderful conductor and talented performers. The most difficult test of maturity was the orchestra’s performance in the Great Hall of the State Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky… Then there were trips around the country. Many cities, large and small, received this wonderful ensemble. Birobidzhan musicians were also convinced of this listeners.”
