Zelensky announced the report of the Ukrainian delegation after the first day of negotiations in the UAE with representatives of the United States and the aggressor country of the Russian Federation.
“There was a trilateral format. There were also contacts between the team and the American side. They reported [секретарь СНБО] Rustem Umerov, [глава ОП] Kirill Budanov, [нардеп от “Слуги народа”] David Arakhamia. The guys were in touch. We discussed the interim results of the negotiations that day. Will extend tomorrow. There will also be a significant step: we expect an exchange of prisoners of war in the near future. We need to return the prisoners home,” the president said.
