We remind you that a woman and her one-year-old child were saved on Saturday, January 24, after a forceful intervention by the police and special forces, in an apartment in Bucharest, where the young woman was held against her will and threatened with a knife by her ex-concubine.
From the checks, the law enforcement officers determined that there was a warrant issued in the man's name “an order of protection, no electronic monitoring”. Negotiators from the Special Actions Service (SAS) were called to the address.
According to Adevărul sources, the call to 112 was made by a friend of the victim, who announced that the young woman was physically assaulted and brought into an apartment in the Prelungirea Ghencea area against her will by her ex-concubine, a 21-year-old man with whom she has a child. The quoted sources show that he would have come unannounced, and “following contradictory discussions, he took the victim from his friend, with whom he was at that time, brought her into the apartment and locked the door“.
The police officers who arrived at the scene managed to get in touch with the young woman and have a dialogue, but she was “reluctant, without giving details about what is happening inside or if they are in danger”the sources say, stating that the woman allegedly told the law enforcement officers that “she will hurt herself if the police try to enter the apartment“.
