“The defendant will submit within 3 days a bond in the amount of 500,000 lei, which will be recorded in his name, lat the disposal of the National Anticorruption Directorate”, DNA informed on Wednesday.

Anti-corruption prosecutors have determined that, during 2025, “one of the joint-stock companies in the group of companies in which the defendant RC is also a director, entered into the preventive composition procedure, which is why, in the file opened before the court, a company of insolvency practitioners was appointed by the Bucharest Court of Appeal to ensure the supervision of the debtor's activity, the analysis of the economic-financial situation, the drawing up and monitoring of the recovery plan, as well as the procedural relationship with the creditors and the court, in order to implement the necessary measures for the restructuring of the obligations and avoiding insolvency”.

According to “Adevărul” information, the defendant RC is Cristian Rădulescu, general manager of Grampet Group, a company founded by Gruia Stoica.

The anti-corruption prosecutors established that, between June 2025 and January 2026, Cristian Rădulescu promised the appointed insolvency practitioner to oversee the preventive arrangement of the company (witness in question) undue benefits amounting to 500,000 euros, as well as the addition of the professional fee, in the event of the opening of the insolvency procedure against another company in the same group.

The promises would have been formulated in direct connection with the duties exercised by the practitioner, as a bankruptcy administrator, the aim being to expedite the acquisition, by the group of companies, of a building located in the city of Bucharest, included in the assets of the company in bankruptcy“, the DNA states in the statement.

In this context, the prosecutors claim, Rădulescu would have sought for the concordat administrator to fulfill his professional obligations in a defective manner, especially in terms of drawing up the restructuring plan, supporting the defense before the syndic judge, declaring and justifying the appeal against the decision handed down in the first instance, as well as carrying out the enforcement procedures on the company's assets.

During the time that he is under judicial control, Cristian Rădulescu must appear whenever he is called to the criminal investigation body, not to leave the territory of Romania, without the consent of the DNA prosecutors, and not to communicate directly or indirectly, by any means, with the persons mentioned in the ordinance ordering the judicial control.

The defendant's attention was drawn to the fact that, in case of bad faith violation of his obligations, the measure of judicial control can be replaced by the measure of house arrest or the measure of preventive arrest“, DNA informed on Wednesday.
