The appointment decisions, signed by Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, were published in the Official Gazette.

The activity of the three honorary advisers of Deputy Prime Minister Oana Gheorghiu – Doina Popescu, Cristian Tudor Băcanu and Vasile Ţiple – is unpaid.

The new appointments mark the consolidation of the circle of expertise around the deputy prime minister, at a time when the Executive is adjusting its priorities and work structures.

“They are angry at the one who came to fix the house and clean up after someone else”

We remind you that the Deputy Prime Minister Oana Gheorghiu declared on Saturday that she does not consider herself “neither a Bolojenist nor a Nichosorist”, but he respects Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan for the courage to take difficult and unpopular measures to fix the problems left by others.

“He came to fix the house and clean up after someone else left the faucet on,” said of the prime minister.

“I respect Mr. Bolojan very much and it seems to me that he is doing something that I don't think many people would have had the courage to clean up after others and be cursed at. Because I want to say this, I think that it is difficult for people, very – very difficult at this moment and I understand and have all the empathy. And I know two things. If there was another solution, it would certainly have been applied, but there is not”. stated Gheorghiu, at Digi24.

She emphasized that the measures taken by the Government were necessary to avoid an even bigger crisis and that, in the absence of alternatives, they represent the only solution to stabilize the situation.

“And the second thing, people are generally angry with Mr. Bolojan, but let them think that they are angry with the one who came to fix the house and clean up after someone else left the faucet open. And that's what we should do, make sure that no one ever leaves the faucet open again.” said George.
