Almost a year after his duel with Jake Paul (28), a famous YouTuber turned boxer, former world champion Mike Tyson (59) said he knows what he did wrong before the November 2024 showdown and would like to fight Paul again.
Mike Tyson is one of the most important names in the history of boxing, being absolute world heavyweight champion from 1987 to 1990. He dominated this sport from 1985-1995, after which he fought again until 2005.

In 2024, 19 years after his retirement from boxing, Tyson returned to the ring and faced Jake Paul in a match held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and broadcast live on Netflix.
The boxer who was 27 years old at the time won by unanimous decision (79-73, 79-73, 80-72)dominating his opponent 31 years his senior. Tyson netted $20 million, while Paul netted around $40 million.
A year after the fight in Texas, Tyson claims that he knows what he did wrong before the duel with Paul, which is that he loaded his training too much. He also appeared open to the idea of a new confrontation.
“I learned a lot from my last fight. I put in a lot of effort in the gym. I overtrained. I was too intense, too extreme. I need to relax more. That's what I thought apples. I need to relax moreTyson said, quoted by Marca.
“I think I trained too much and left most of my potential in the gym. Hopefully after this fight with Floyd, I can fight him again. I would be interested. He did well, but I want to try again,” added the former world champion.
Before the duel with Paul, Mike Tyson agreed with Floyd Mayweather and in the spring of 2026 there should be a demonstration boxing match between the two, but for now no other details are known.
