The UTA Arad team defeated the FC Argeş team 1-0 in Mioveni on Saturday evening, away, in the 24th stage of the football SuperLiga. The people of Arad climbed to the play-off place.

The only goal of the game was scored by Marius Coman (67), from Din Alomerovic's cross, News.ro and Agerpres report.

The two teams met in the main domestic competition 52 times, 23 times Pitesti prevailed, 18 times Arade won, and 11 other games ended in a draw. With FC Argeș as the host, the record is 27 games, 20 victories belonging to the FC Argeș team, 3 were draws, and UTA achieved 4 victories, according to LPF.

FC Argeș was coming after two consecutive victories, without conceding a goal.

UTA has four wins and a draw in the last five trips.

Pitesti are now in 4th place, remaining with 40 points, while UTA is in 6th place, with 38 points.

FC Hermannstadt, victorious away to Unirea Slobozia

Also on Saturday, FC Hermannstadt beat Unirea Slobozia with a score of 3-2, away, at the 1 Mai Stadium in Slobozia, in a match from the 24th stage of the Super League, writes Agerpres.

For the Sibiens, it was only the third victory in this championship and the first with coach Dorinel Munteanu on the bench.

Unirea opened the scoring through the Peruvian Renato Espinosa (12), launched into the box by Alexandru Albu.

The visitors came back and scored three times in less than ten minutes. Cameroonian Christ Afalna, who came this winter from Unirea Slobozia, managed a double (29, 36), the first goal coming after Aurelian Chițu sent it into the crossbar, and the second from Chițu's pass. The guests' third goal was scored by Aurelian Chițu (33), after Kevin Ciubotaru's cross.

Unirea scored once more after the break, through the same Peruvian striker Renato Espinosa (55), who sent Guy Dahan's pass into the goal from an offside position. It should be noted that the match did not benefit from video refereeing.

FC Hermannstadt ended a streak of 13 matches without a win, of which four were draws and nine were failures.

The Ialomi players now have three consecutive defeats in the championship and seven consecutive failures at home.

In the round, Unirea won 2-0.
