Four Ukrainians who crossed the border in Romania through the Maramureş Mountains and who asked for the help of the lifeguards were recovered from the mountain on Sunday night and handed over to the authorities, announced Dan Benga, the director of the County Public Service (SPJ) Salvamont Maramureș.
The search-sauta action lasted all night and became complicated after midnight, said Dan Benga, quoted by Agerpres.

Arriving at the base of the mountain, one of the Ukrainians was transported to the medical unit for investigations and treatment, and the other two were taken over by the competent authorities to carry out the procedures imposed in such cases, he said.
Another Ukrainian asked to be saved from the mountain
