A bus with 24 Ukrainian passengers left the road and ended up in a ditch in Brăila. Two people were taken to hospital

A road accident took place on Sunday evening on Calea Galati in Braila municipality, where a bus carrying 24 Ukrainian citizens went off the road and ended up in a ditch. The authorities activated the red intervention plan, in the end two people were transported to the hospital.
In an information sent on Sunday evening, the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU) Brăila specifies that the people on the bus that went off the road and ended up in the ditch have Ukrainian citizenship, two victims being taken to the hospital.
“There were 24 people (of Ukrainian citizenship) on the bus, 14 did not require medical care, 7 received medical care, and 3 of them are being evaluated by the medical crews present on the spot,” ISU Brăila initially stated.
Later, ISU announced that two of the occupants, conscious and cooperative, will be transported to the hospital for thorough investigations. They complain of lumbar pain.
The red intervention plan has been deactivated.
Two minibuses and a bus from Giurgiulesti customs are moving to the scene of the intervention to pick up passengers, IGSU informed.
