Doctors at the Krasnoyarsk perinatal center are actively introducing a new technique for caesarean section. This was reported by the press service of the medical institution.
In April 2025 in the regional center for maternal and child health A Serbian specialist in perinatology, Professor Tihomir Vejnovic, came with the author’s master class. He operated on a woman during a live broadcast, commenting on his actions and the positive aspects of this method.
In 9 months last year according to Veinovich's method Krasnoyarskerinatal center doctors operated 52 women. This The technique is suitable for women who are planning a first cesarean section with the prospect of a second pregnancy. Doctors have already been able to evaluate this method.
“As a rule, on the second day after delivery, the patient does not require pain relief; during the operation, the amount of suture material is required significantly less and, importantly, the amount of blood loss decreases,” noted obstetrician-gynecologist Ekaterina Raspopina.
The perinatal center added that the birth of a child by caesarean section is safe. And the mother’s stay in consciousness allows her to control the process and recover faster in order to be reunited with the baby as soon as possible and be together in the same room.
