Analysts told what salary representatives of the Z generation in the Krasnoyarsk Territory count on

The service for the search for work and personnel interviewed Krasnoyarsk employers and revealed the features of work with the Zumers (born from 1996 to 2010), and also figured out the difficulties of companies when they are hiring and withheld.

The study was attended by 1950 employers from all federal districts of the Russian Federation, including in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

According to the survey, 49 % of respondents noted that they are successfully attracted to the zumers for vacancies. At the same time, 51 % reported that they are difficult to involve applicants in this age group. 56 % of the survey participants believe that the Zumers have special expectations regarding corporate culture and management style.

When employing to the Zumers, it is important:

  • work in a friendly atmosphere (61 %);
  • have support for their initiatives and innovative ideas (45 %);
  • see a clear feedback and work assessment system (37 %);
  • have open and transparent communications (34 %);
  • be able to influence decision making (27 %).

Among the main difficulties in assessing professional skills of generation candidates Z, employers note:

  • lack of work experience (67 %);
  • difficulties with the assessment of practical knowledge and skills (59 %);
  • difficulty in evaluating flexible skills (communications, team work) (44 %);
  • Inability to present your skills and achievements (35 %).

According to the answers received, 31 % of respondents are faced with the problem of high fluidity of personnel among the zumers. Among the main reasons for leaving:

  • discrepancy between expectations and reality (65 %);
  • more profitable offers from other companies (16 %);
  • inappropriate management style and corporate culture (13 %);
  • lack of opportunities for growth and development (10 %).

According to employers, the main factors of attractive work for generation Z:

  • high level of wages (74 %);
  • Balance of work and personal life (62 %);
  • the possibility of remote work or hybrid schedule (60 %);
  • opportunities for professional and personal growth (30 %);
  • Interesting and creative tasks (26 %).

Most often, as shown by the survey, the Zumers ask employers with employers the following level of earnings:

  • up to 30 thousand rubles. – 3 %;
  • from 30 thousand to 50 thousand rubles. – 12 %;
  • from 50 thousand to 70 thousand rubles. – 28 %;
  • from 70 thousand to 100 thousand rubles. – 27 %;
  • from 100 thousand rubles – 30 %.
