About 1.6 million copies of textbooks were purchased for schools of the Krasnoyarsk Territory

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, before the start of the school year, about 1.6 million copies of textbooks were purchased.

Deputy Minister of Education of the Territory Tatyana Gridasova explained that thanks to this, all students from 1 to 11th grade will be provided with free textbooks. More than 950 million rubles were allocated for the purchase of books from the regional budget.

This year, students from grade 5 will begin to study the story on unified textbooks for the first time. In the new edition, special attention was paid to the roles of Russia in world history. The sections on the history of science, culture and art are also significantly expanded. In addition, students in grades will study the development of a primitive society in Russia. The textbooks have QR codes leading to additional materials for teachers and students.

More than 292 thousand updated books have already entered school schools. Children of grades 5-7 and parts of the 8-9 grades will begin to study the history of these textbooks from the upcoming school year. For those schools who have not purchased textbooks for 8-9 grades this year, it is allowed to study the subject on old textbooks. From 2026/2027 of the school year, all students will switch to updated history textbooks.

Recall that since 2023, a single textbook on history has been developed for 10-11 grades. The manual has many microistories, illustrations, fewer numbers, dates, dry statistics, more stories about people, real events. A separate section is devoted to clarifying the reasons for the beginning of its, the entry of new regions into Russia, the modern development of the country, the formation of a multipolar world.

The Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation reported that for three years, unified school textbooks in all subjects will be prepared in Russia. The agency has already begun the development of unified state textbooks on physics, chemistry, biology, Russian language, literature and OBZh (the basics of safety and protection of the homeland).
