The Chinese want to hit the European market with a new electric car » Only 1,000 copies available

The model has already started to be produced in China, and the success it enjoys has led the companies that put their shoulder to this project to enter the European market. The purchase price will be around 60,000 euros, and the release date is not yet known.

The Chinese at JMEV are preparing to launch the SC01 electric model on the European market, boasting a power of over 400 hp at a weight of only 1.3 tons. They set out to create this model with the aim of allowing drivers to enjoy the pleasure of driving a supercar, even if it has electric power. The number of cars given for sale in Europe will be limited, somewhere around 1,000 copies. At the moment, the date when the car will be available on the market is not known.

The company has not yet announced the official selling price of the car, but information published by Chinese media indicates that the estimated price is 60,000 euros. This car is not currently homologated in Europe, so it needs time to be sold through its own network or through dealers.

Its performance will be supported by the two electric motors that generate a total power of 429 HP. The battery of only 60 kWh allows an autonomy of up to 500 km, in CLTC mode. The acceleration that the car can achieve from 0 to 100 km/h is only 2.9 seconds, according to profit.ro.
