Most voters of Karol Nawrocki and Sławomir Mentzen do not agree to return to trade on Sunday – completely different than the supporters of Rafał Trzaskowski and Szymon Hołownia.

Opinia24 laboratory at the request of Radio ZET examined whether the future president should sign the act restoring trade on Sunday. The results of the study have shown that Poles are divided almost equally. 42 percent respondents believe that trade on Sunday should be restored; The opposite opinion is 49 percent. respondents, and 8 percent There is no opinion on this matter.

Among the decisive people to vote for Rafał Trzaskowski, the majority are in favor of restoring trade on Sunday (62 percent on yes and 30 % on them). Among the voters of Karol Nawrocki, opposition to this issue predominates (78 percent on them, and 19 percent on yes), as in the group of people declaring support for Sławomir Mentzen (59 percent on them, and 38 percent on yes). Instead, Szymon Hołownia's electorate enthusiastically approaches the idea of ​​restoring trade on Sunday (70 percent on yes, and only 26 percent on them).

Analyzing the answers according to party preferences, you can see their convergence with the results taking into account the declared support for a specific presidential candidate. Among the voters of Law and Justice, the opposition to the restoration of trade on Sunday (73 percent on them, and 21 percent per yes), as well as among those who declare voting for the confederation (58 percent per not, and 39 percent per yes) – results from the study for Radio ZET.

The situation is different among the voters of the Civic Coalition, where the majority would like the future president to sign the act opening all stores again on Sunday (64 percent on yes, and 27 % on them). In turn, supporters of the third road – Polish 2050 Szymon Hołownia and PSL – are clearly divided in this matter, and almost equally (47 percent on yes, and 51 percent, on them).

In turn, the electorate of the new left mostly (63 percent) is consistent that the act restoring trade on Sunday should be adopted. 30 percent leftist voters have a different opinion – according to a survey conducted for Radio ZET. The remaining percentage in groups of voters of individual parties and presidential candidates are undecided people who indicated the answer: I don't know / it's hard to say.

The survey was carried out by the Opinia24 studio on a representative sample of 1002 Poles aged 18 and more from 2 to 6 April 2025. The percentage results were rounded to full values. (PAP)
