The most recent meeting between the two teams dates back to the beginning of May, when Gloria Bistrita won by a margin, score 24-23, in the “Liga Florilor”, at the end of a spectacular match.
SCM Râmnicu Vâlcea won the Romanian Cup only once, in 2020, but played three other finals, which it lost, in 2018, 2019 and 2022. On the other hand, Gloria has only one final, last year, lost to CSM Bucharest.
