“According to preliminary data, at approximately 6:15 p.m., an ATV driven by a deputy drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a route vehicle. […] As a result of the collision, the MP received serious injuries incompatible with life. After hospitalization, he died in the hospital,” the statement said.
The State Bureau of Investigation noted that there were no injuries among the minibus passengers.
The investigation has already begun. Probably, proceedings will be opened under Part 2 of Art. 286 (violation of road safety rules resulting in death) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Law enforcement officers showed a photo of the damaged bus, it runs on route 119 (suburban station of Lvov – Polyanka village).
