More than 5 thousand Krasnoyarsk residents gathered at the platform of the main railway station of the capital of the Krasnoyarsk Territory to meet the Victory train.
The military retro -euthorus arrived at the Krasnoyarsk station under the main song about the war – “Victory Day” – performed by the large combined choir of the Krasnoyarsk highway, uniting 80 railway workers.
The legendary “Lebedyanka”, decorated with flags, banners and coniferous garlands, gave a solemn beep, plunging the forecaster in the atmosphere of spring 1945, when the trainers with the victorious warriors arrived at the stations of Russia.

“The 80th anniversary of Victory is not just an anniversary, it is our national pride, a symbol of military glory and the valor of our Fatherland. During the Great Patriotic War, the Krasnoyarsk highway made a significant contribution to a general victory. More than 16 thousand workers went to the front, and those who stayed in the rear worked around the clock: they took trains with wounded and evacuated, ensured the passage of trains to the front, transported equipment, food and military equipment. Before arriving in Krasnoyarsk, our Victory train visited the cities and towns of the region and Khakassia, we saw both joy and tears in the eyes of fellow countrymen who went out to meet him. Our project is our common memory and our deepest gratitude to veterans, front -line soldiers, rear workers, railway workers who survived and won. ”
For guests of the holiday, a front-line agitbrid with the songs about the war made a festival from the platform scene. A large -scale exposition of military equipment worked – howitzers, anti -aircraft and anti -tank guns. Children and adults got the opportunity to visit the cabin of the Slamyanka steam locomotive.
Krasnoyarsk became the final station of the festive route of the Victory train. He included Bogotol, Uzhur, Abakan and Sayan stations. In total, more than 18 thousand people saw historical reconstruction.
