A few hours after Ciprian Ciucu said that Daniel Băluță “is directly responsible for the situation in which the budget of Bucharest is now”, the mayor of Sector 4 told him that “he made a reflex gesture of blaming anyone else, only his administrative incapacity NO”.
Daniel Băluță, the PSD mayor of Sector 4, responded to Ciprian Ciucu, after the Capital's mayor accused him of “knowing how to get money from a pen, through arbitrary political decisions, often for expensive and invented projects”.
“I convey to Mr. Mayor General that I prefer to finish a competition in last place, than not to tell people the TRUTH, as his lordship does, from the position of the winner,” writes Daniel Băluță at the beginning of the post on Facebook. He refers to the results he obtained in the elections for the Capital City Hall, when he finished in 3rd place, being surpassed by Anca Alexandrescu.

Daniel Băluță says that Ciprian Ciucu “made a reflex gesture of blaming anyone else, only his administrative incapacity NO” and that “it was expected” to blame the heavy inheritance and “to accuse PSD of all possible problems”.
To the general mayor's accusations regarding the expensive and invented projects, the mayor of Sector 4 responds by recommending that he “try to implement them and transfer them to his own portfolio, where the results are missing”.
Baluță mentions again the “lamentations”, “reactions associated with the “cult of personality”” and “tears” of the general mayor.
“I want to point out that heating agent circulates through the pipes of the heating system in the Capital, not politics or the tears of the Mayor General”, he writes at the end of Băluță's post.
Where did the conflict start?
Thursday evening, in an intervention at Euronews Romania, the general mayor of the Capital Ciprian Ciucu stated that due to the lack of money from the Capital City Hall, he is considering “structural reforms, some heavy”, such as merging or abolishing some institutions under the authority of the City Hall and increasing the price of STB tickets.
Ciprian Ciucu says he will take “unpopular” measures: abolishing institutions and raising the price of STB tickets
Friday morning, through a press release, Daniel Băluță launched a new attack on him and on “somat” “to stop complaining endlessly” and to come up with concrete solutions.
The PSD mayor of District 4 said that he “firmly condemns the amateurism, the administrative incapacity, the lack of vision that the general mayor shows every day” and claimed that the increase in the price of tickets for public transport and the merger or dissolution of some institutions “are measures that betray desperation, a lack of solutions and a great injustice to the people”.
In response, Ciprian Ciucu said, also on Facebook, that “Daniel Băluță's populism was expected, not immediately, but it was completely predictable” and accuses the PSD mayor of “being directly responsible for the situation in which Bucharest's budget is now”.
