I go to get my nails done 2 times less often: I use popular home care – perfect hands without going to a specialist

Professional manicure has long ceased to be the only way to have well-groomed hands. Today, more and more people are choosing unedged manicure as a safe and effective alternative.

Why you should give up trimmed manicure

The cuticle is a protective barrier that prevents bacteria and fungi from entering the nail growth area. Regular circumcision leads to thickening and roughening of the skin, the risk of infection and the formation of hangnails, which leads to the need for frequent corrections.

An unedged manicure works on the principle of gentle care, because in this case the cuticle is not cut, but is carefully pushed back and softened. Over time, it becomes thin, elastic and almost invisible.

You will need only 3 tools: special cuticle oil, an orange (manicure) stick with a flat beveled edge and a soft cloth.

How to use a nail stick

  1. Wash your hands thoroughly. Apply 2-3 drops of cuticle oil to the base of each nail and rub in gently.
  2. Leave for 3-5 minutes so that the keratin scales of the cuticle soften as much as possible.
  3. Take an orange stick. Its flat beveled edge is safe and does not injure the skin. Do not use metal objects under any circumstances, they are too aggressive.
  4. Hold the stick at about a 45-degree angle to your nail.
  5. Very gently and without pressure, begin to move the softened cuticle from the nail plate towards the base of the nail from the free edge to the root.
  6. Move in small sections as if you were scraping the cuticle off your nail, moving it gently.
  7. After treating all nails, wipe them with a tissue to remove excess oil and loose skin particles. Every evening, rub a drop of oil into the cuticle to maintain its elasticity and nutrition.

How to choose the right nail products

  • Choose products with jojoba, almond oil, vitamin E, panthenol. They not only soften, but also intensely nourish. You can use pure cosmetic oils.
  • The orange stick should have dense, not loose wood. One end should be pointed for neat cleaning under the free edge, and the other should have a perfectly flat and smooth bevel.

After 3-4 weeks of regular care, the cuticle becomes thin, neat and requires almost no correction. The nail hole visually lengthens, making the fingers more graceful.

This simple yet effective technique will add beauty to your natural nails. And just 10 minutes of care 1-2 times a week will give you well-groomed hands without extra costs or risks.
