Experts of the Krasnoyarsk Rospotrebnadzor told how a healthy diet will help to avoid cancer. About 30 % of all cases of cancer are associated with an unbalanced diet, a lack of physical activity, and the use of tobacco and alcohol.

To reduce the risk of cancer, experts recommended reducing the consumption of saturated fats. People with the usual level of activity will have enough 50-70 g of fat per day. Monitoring this nutrient will help protect against breast cancer, colon and prostate gland.

It is also necessary to eat more vegetables and fruits, because they contain fiber, vitamins, and substances with anticoncinogenic effects. You can add red and yellow vegetables, citrus fruits, cabbage, garlic, horseradish to the diet.

The body needs up to 35 g of fiber per day – it is whole grains, bran, vegetables and fruits.

Alcohol is advised to completely exclude, since it can provoke cancer of the oral cavity, esophagus, liver, mammary gland. Experts also recommend abandoning smoked and nitrite-containing food, since it has a lot of carcinogens. Do not forget about the water balance – a person needs 30 ml per 1 kg of weight.

“Remember that there is no special“ antitumor ”diet, it makes no sense to look for special products for him and cook exclusively from them. It is enough to monitor your diet – try to make it full and balanced, ”the experts concluded.
