Karting in Krasnoyarsk is becoming more than just an evening or weekend entertainment, it is now a big sport with a racing series. In December, the city hosted the first winter championship – WINTER CUP SENNA'25 based on SENNA karting. The event marks the launch of regular quarterly races CUP SENNA.
More than 60 riders took part in the championship in two categories: “Pro” and “Amateur”. The pilots fought not only for the champion title and cups, but also for a prize fund of 200 thousand rubles, which was divided between the winners and runners-up. Due to the excitement, the organizers decided to hold an additional championship in January, ironically calling it “For Dummies.” Now beginners will have the opportunity to test themselves and the track.
“At the moment, SENNA is one of the best karting tracks, and my team and I are quite spoiled by both Moscow and St. Petersburg. There is a technical component here – new SODI karts (a brand of professional sports karts, note) and the track itself – it is wide, it is difficult, it teaches the pilot how to drive. The opening of SENNA is truly an event for Siberia!” — said the winner of the WINTER CUP SENNA'25 championship in the “Pro” category, Viktor Trepashko.
The success of the December tournament confirmed the demand for systematic competitions, so in 2026, regular quarterly racing series will be held on the basis of SENNA karting. Pilots can take part in spring, summer, autumn and winter cups with a prize fund. Such a system will allow drivers not only to participate in one-time championships, but also to accumulate ratings, compete for the title of best driver, forming a real racing community.
The racers had already formed their TOP pilots, the karting management picked up the idea and made the official TOP 50 pilots of Krasnoyarsk. It is regularly updated and motivates riders to achieve new records.

Experts are confident that the launch of the regular CUP SENNA series will be the starting point for the development of not only amateur but also professional karting in Krasnoyarsk, opening the way for talented pilots to big-time motorsport.
