Asked if he was concerned that US President Donald Trump's attention could be diverted away from Ukraine and increasingly towards Greenland, Zelensky said he was “concerned about any lack of focus during a full-scale war.”
“But I don’t think that these are interchangeable. That is, we have a full-scale war. And we have a specific aggressor. And we have specific victims. And here there is only pressure on Russia and only the strengthening of Ukraine – there are no other tools to end the war,” the president said.
Zelensky stressed that Ukraine and he personally respect the sovereignty of Denmark and their territorial integrity.
“I really, really want America to hear Europe, in the format of diplomacy. I think this is how everything will happen, and I really believe that there won’t be any big threats,” the head of state added.
