Freight turnover for December 2025 amounted to 12.2 billion tariff ton-km (-3.5%), freight turnover, taking into account the mileage of empty cars for the same period, amounted to 14.1 billion ton-km (-2.2%).

In 2025, loading was influenced by a number of external negative factors. Thus, cement loading decreased by 30% due to a decrease in business activity in the construction sector against the backdrop of a high key rate. The fall in lumber export prices in China led to a 23.8% decline in timber loading volumes. An 18% reduction in the transportation of industrial raw materials used in the ferrous metallurgy is due to a decrease in demand for the products of this industry as a result of sanctions pressure.

In addition, due to the shutdown of the Achinsk oil refinery for scheduled repairs, the shipment of oil cargo decreased by 14.4%.

At the same time, an increase in coal transportation to the domestic market was recorded (+2.7%), which was due to an increase in supplies to coal generation facilities in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Republic of Khakassia, the Altai Territory and Kuzbass due to the increased load on electricity generation and a decrease in hydrogeneration in the first half of the year.

Transportation of iron ore to the domestic market increased at a faster pace – by 36.3 thousand tons. An experimental transportation of manganese ore from the Usinsk deposit from the Minusinsk station was carried out at the Krasnodar Railway.

The provision of state subsidies for railway tariffs to regional enterprises contributed to the growth of grain loading (+6%). Transportation volumes increased both within Russia and to export markets.

Let us remind you that the service area of the Krasnoyarsk Railway includes the territories of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Republic of Khakassia, and partly the Kemerovo and Irkutsk regions.
