There is mold in the seams between the tiles – and there are no traces left: I spread this mixture – the black spots disappear overnight

If you notice black spots in the seams between the tiles in the bathroom, then this is not just dirt, but mold, which grows quickly in a humid environment. Many people use aggressive products with chlorine, but they smell, irritate the skin and do not always have a long-lasting effect.

But there is an easier way and you already have it in your kitchen.

Take regular baking soda. Mix it with a little water to form a thick paste. Apply this mixture directly to the moldy grout using your finger or an old toothbrush. Don't rub too hard, just apply a thin layer. Leave it overnight. In the morning, rinse with warm water and wipe dry.

Baking soda gently but effectively removes black stains, neutralizes odors, and creates an alkaline environment that makes it difficult for mold to return. And no pungent smell, no gloves.

For prevention, simply wipe the seams with a soda solution once a week, and mold will not appear even in the wettest bathroom.

Question and answer:

Can baking soda be used on colored grout?
Yes. Baking soda does not bleach or damage color, unlike chlorine.

Why does mold come back after a week?
Because the bathroom is always damp. After a shower, ventilate the room or turn on the hood.

Would vinegar work instead of baking soda?
Vinegar kills spores, but leaves an acidic environment in which mold can return more quickly. Baking soda works softer and lasts longer.
