According to Deryugina, in each of her two marriages, she cared for and loved her husbands.

The coach noted that now there are no men around her who would be interesting to her.

From 1979 to 2000, Deryugina was married to Ukrainian football player Oleg Blokhin, they have a daughter, Irina (born in 1983). According to Deryugina, she initiated the divorce from Blokhin when she learned that he had children in other relationships.
After the divorce, Deryugina does not communicate with her first husband. She added that Irisha Blokhina is also not in contact with his father.
In second marriage Deryugina lived for more than 10 years. She does not disclose the surname of her second husband. According to Deryugina, after her second divorce, she completely devoted herself to gymnastics, deciding that she did not want to waste time on a new relationship.
Context
Irina Deryugina was born on January 11, 1958 in Kyiv. She was engaged in rhythmic gymnastics, in which she achieved significant success, in particular, she was twice the absolute world champion (in 1977 and 1979).
In 1982, she completed her sports career, worked as a judge and coach, including for the Ukrainian national rhythmic gymnastics team. Since October 2024, he has headed the Ukrainian Gymnastics Federation.
