Otto Hindrich will soon become the third indisputable holder sold this winter by Transylvania, after Louis Munteanu and Lindon Emerllahu.
Otto Hindrich left the training camp of CFR Cluj, from Oliva Nova, to do the medical visit and sign the contract with Legia Warsaw. After signing the agreement, he will go directly to Marbella, where Edward Iordănescu's former team is located.
GSP.ro authorized sources say that it is a permanent transfer, and the Transylvanian players will choose 800,000 euros. Varga's club also retains a percentage of a future transfer. Initially, the Poles only wanted a loan.
Hindrich is the product of CFR Cluj and has collected 78 games in the shirt of Transylvania. He has two Romanian championship titles in his record. It is quoted at 1.3 million euros on transfermarkt.com.
Now, Cluj are trying to bring back Mihai Popa, who also played for CFR between August 2024 and June 2025. He had been loaned by Transylvania from Turin, his current club, but he failed to impress. He appeared in only 13 games. He also played for FC Voluntari, Astra Giurgiu, Farul and Rapid. Octavian Vâlceanu, Rareș Gal, Marc Filip are the 3 goalkeepers in the team led by Daniel Pancu.
Iordănescu's former team is going through an extremely poor season. After 18 stages, they rank in a shameful place, 17th, with 19 points.
The supporters of the most titled club in Poland are very angry that their team occupies a relegation place.
