They decided not to punish the former head of a village in the Krasnoyarsk Territory for damage to the state of 10 million rubles

The Nizhneingashsky Court of the Krasnoyarsk Territory dismissed the case against the former acting the head of the village of Nizhnyaya Poima due to the expiration of the statute of limitations for criminal prosecution.

The official was accused of negligence (Part 1.1 of Article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The investigation established that the woman, who served as the head of the village from September to November 2023, accepted work on the repair of treatment facilities. However, it turned out that some of the work was done with a deviation from the estimate, and some was not done at all. Thus, the state suffered damage in the amount of 10,197,700 rubles.

The crime is classified as minor; the statute of limitations for criminal prosecution in this case expired in November 2025. Therefore, the official was released from punishment. The resolution did not enter into legal force.
