A resident of the city of Kansk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, complained to the chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia about stray dogs that regularly attack local residents.

In an appeal sent through Alexander Bastrykin’s reception on VKontakte,The woman said that in December of this year an aggressive pack attacked on an 8-year-old girl on the territory of an educational institution. The dogs knocked the child to the ground; the bites were avoided thanks to the help provided by eyewitnesses.
“It is noted that employees of specialized services have not taken measures to organize the capture of stray dogs that regularly attack local residents for a long time. Based on the received complaint, a criminal case was initiated. The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation instructed the head of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee for the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Alexey Eremin, to report on the preliminary and final results of the investigation,” the department said.
