The famous American comedian Jimmy Kimmel said on Friday that he offers all his awards to the US president, Donald Trump, if he withdraws the agents of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) from Minneapolis, his offer coming after the leader of the Venezuelan opposition Maria Corina Machado “offered” the leader of the White House the Nobel Peace Prize medal on the eve of his actions in favor of freedom in Venezuela, reports EFE, taken by Agerpres.

“I have an offer that I think you're going to have a hard time refusing, but only if you agree to get ICE out of Minneapolis and send the immigration agents back to their barracks. I'm willing to give you one of the trophies I've been honored with over the years,” Kimmel said in the opening monologue of his show Thursday night.

The comedian then poked fun at the meeting between Machado and Trump and said it was something unique for a president to “take somebody else's Nobel Prize.”

“Look how happy he is! Have you ever seen anyone happier than him to win this award? And he didn't even win it,” Kimmel said, looking at the photo from the award ceremony.

The presenter stated that the Venezuelan woman gave the medal, which she had won a few months ago, to Donald Trump, because he refused to support her as the new leader of Venezuela, but that when he told her that he would give her the medal accompanying the award, the American president agreed to receive it. “The White House security team searched her to make sure she took the medal with her,” Kimmel joked.

The comedian said that giving Donald Trump an award was “the only way to get him to do something,” so he asked one of his assistants to bring a display case of some of the awards he's won throughout his career to the set.

He said he might give Trump the Daytime Emmy, the award he received in 1999 for best game show host.

“Would you prefer my Clio Award for my work selling trash to people? Or my Webby Award, the most prestigious award the internet can offer? Or my Writers Guild Award — that's good, you see that's nice,” he continued. “Or, better yet, I'm willing to hand you my 2015 Soul Train White Person of the Year award. Your choice,” he promised.

The comedian said that if Donald Trump accepts, he will personally present any of the awards “or all” to him in the Oval Office, in exchange for the decision “to leave the people of Minneapolis alone.”

A few months ago, ABC abruptly suspended “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” after the host had criticized the Trump administration's reaction to the killing of ultraconservative activist Charlie Kirk. The government threatened to revoke the station's license if Kimmel was not punished. He returned to the station a week later, after a wave of criticism, obtaining the largest audiences in the last ten years.
