The Cluj Public Transport Company (CTP) announces that following an update of the POS payment system, the price of tickets purchased in public transport has been automatically changed to 4 lei instead of 3.5 lei. The problem affected 10% of trams, trolleybuses and CTP buses.

“Following an update of the POS payment system, a technical error was identified that affected approximately 10% of the transport fleet Qon 13.01.2026. The Public Transport Company has also taken other measures for travelers who have already been affected by this problem.
