According to weather forecasters, the thermometer will drop to −35 °C in the coming days, and temperatures of forty degrees are expected at night. In this regard, at SGC stations in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the level of control over the operation of equipment has been increased.

All enterprises have already carried out additional preparation of main and auxiliary equipment. Boilers, turbines, pumping units have been tested and are fully prepared to operate under peak loads. In addition, excess fuel reserves have been accumulated in the stations' warehouses. To ensure maximum reliability at thermal power facilities, inspections and inspections by duty personnel have been increased.
Emergency repair teams of heating networks in Krasnoyarsk, Nazarovo, and Kansk have been transferred to an enhanced operating mode. Four teams will be on duty around the clock every day. In the event of an emergency, MAVRs will come to the aid of specialists – these are mobile workshops that are equipped with all the necessary equipment: generators, welding machines, tools and materials. “Professionals on wheels” are able to set up a repair point anywhere in the city in the shortest possible time. There are about 20 such machines in the arsenal of specialists in the cities of responsibility of the SGK.

As frost approaches, in accordance with the approved schedule, power engineers will gradually increase the temperature of the coolant in the main networks to +135 °C. This will ensure a uniform supply of heat and hot water to residential areas, regardless of their distance from the station. At the same time, the standard for hot water remains unchanged plus 60–75 °C all year round. To do this, management companies install thermostats – devices that automatically stabilize the water temperature.
“For us, preparing for such frosts is a well-functioning set of measures that we carry out annually. But every time we approach it with maximum responsibility, understanding that the warmth in homes, hospitals, schools and kindergartens depends on our work. All systems have been checked, personnel are ready, reserves have been created. We will do everything to make even the coldest days as comfortable as possible for Krasnoyarsk residents,” said Oleg Bubnovsky, General Director of the Yenisei TGC (a division of the SGC in the Krasnoyarsk Territory).
