Ukrainian fans of Eurovision 2026 on May 12, during the first semi-final of the competition, noticed unusual symbolism in the design of the stage – on the Threads social network they noticed that the color scheme and graphics, if you look closely, resembled a trident.
“The organizers hardly knew about it, but the Eurovision 2026 stage is similar to the shape of the Ukrainian trident,” the post noted.
For clarity, the author of the publication combined a photo of the scene with an image of a trident.
“Coincidence? I don’t think so,” they wrote in the comments.
“It’s also yellow and blue. Who understands the signs,” the author of the post was supported online.
“Really,” fans appreciated the similarity.
