If your orchid has not produced buds for a long time and is only growing leaves, do not rush to attribute it to its capricious nature. A simple method will restore the plant’s strength and start flowering without expensive stimulants.
It is enough to dilute one tablet of succinic acid in a liter of warm, settled water and mix thoroughly until completely dissolved. Water the substrate at the root once every two to three weeks, making sure that liquid does not accumulate in the axils of the leaves. To consolidate the result, move the pot to a place with diffused light, regularly ventilate the room and wipe the leaf plates with a damp sponge to remove dust.
Thanks to this support, the root system absorbs nutrition better, and the plant quickly emerges from dormancy. Within a month, new flower stalks begin to form, and the blooming flowers last longer than usual, maintaining a rich shade and elastic shape of the petals.
