Every third Pole is afraid that they will run out of money in 2026.


Poles are increasingly concerned about their financial future. This is clearly demonstrated by the latest United Surveys by IBRiS survey for Wirtualna Polska. It shows that as many as 29.6 percent respondents are not sure whether they will have enough money for living and current expenses in 2026.

The results of the survey may be a signal to those in power that society expects stabilization and effective actions in economic policy. This is also important information for experts analyzing social moods and forecasting the country's economic development.

According to the survey, the greatest concern is among opposition voters, especially Confederation and PiS.
Almost 30 percent Poles are concerned about whether they will have enough money for current expenses in 2026.
Among people who are concerned about their financial situation, 16.8 percent answered that they were “definitely” afraid of lack of money, and 12.8 percent “probably yes.” In turn, 69.6 percent respondents do not share these concerns – 21.5 percent indicated the answer “definitely not”, and 48.1 percent “I don't think so”. A small group, only 0.8 percent, has no opinion on this subject.

Voters of Confederation and PiS express the greatest concern about the household budget – as many as 46 percent. of them are concerned about their financial situation in 2026. Among the supporters of the ruling coalition, as many as 94 percent are not worried about money, and only 4 percent declares concerns. In the group of “other voters”, every third respondent (33%) expresses concern about their financial future.
As we reported in December, according to a study commissioned by the National Debt Register, 21 percent declare no savings. Poles. 17 percent Poles estimate that they would survive for at most a month after losing their income. Even more admit that… they have absolutely no savings.
