The topic of the talks remains confidential. Ratcliffe also met with the minister-coordinator of services, Tomasz Siemoniak.


According to unofficial information, in recent days CIA Director John Ratcliffe was to pay an undisclosed visit to Poland; As reported by RMF 24, citing sources in Washington, the head of the American Central Intelligence Agency in Poland met with the head of the Ministry of National Defense and the minister-coordinator of special services, Tomasz Siemoniak.
The information about Ratcliffe's meeting with the head of the Polish Ministry of National Defense was confirmed by PAP in sources close to the Ministry of Defense; the meeting took place earlier this week. The topic of the meeting remains secret.
Later on Friday, the Minister-Coordinator of Special Services, Tomasz Siemoniak, also announced the meeting with the head of the CIA. “We discussed security issues in Europe and the world and emphasized the very good allied cooperation of the Polish and US special services,” Siemoniak wrote on X.
John Ratcliffe has been director of the CIA for a year; he took office on January 23, 2025, shortly after Donald Trump took office as US president. During Trump's previous term, in 2020-2021, he was director of National Intelligence. (PAP)
