In the Yenisei district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, 4 household plots were flooded over the past 24 hours, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

In total, as of the morning of January 8, 2 sections of the road and 28 household plots were flooded there:

• 20 in the city of Yeniseisk, where the Melnichnaya River overflowed its banks;
• 8 sections (+4 for knocks) in the village of Ozernoye, where The Kem River overflowed.

“The situation on the Yenisei River in the Yenisei District is also under control: in the village of Abalakovo, the water level in the river is 740 centimeters, the dynamics per day –2 centimeters; in the village of Strelka the water level is 740 centimeters (-2 centimeters per day); in the city of Yeniseisk – 1058 centimeters (-7 centimeters per day). Monitoring of the situation continues,” the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.

Let us remind youthe hydrological situation in the Yenisei District has remained difficult since the end of 2025. The reason for the rise in water level was a congestion on the Yenisei, which arose due to ice movements that occurred due to fluctuations in air temperature.
