Injured Real Madrid captain Dani Carvajal continues his recovery, hoping to return to Xabi Alonso's squad as soon as possible. He took advantage of the time spent outside the field to visit his sister, but also his brother-in-law, Joselu, according to tribuna.com. The former Real striker is currently playing at Al-Gharafa, a team from Qatar, where he is a colleague of Florinel Coman.

When local club officials learned of Dani Carvajal's arrival, they immediately gave him a warm welcome. The club's president, His Highness Jassim bin Thamer Al Thani, personally presented him with a club shirt with his name on it.

In an Instagram post that could raise tensions among Real Madrid fans, Carvajal appears holding a team shirt with his name on it, an image that could be interpreted as an introduction to a transfer. In this case, however, it is only a gift.

  • The Spanish defender is recovering from a significant right knee injury suffered at the end of October 2025, which required surgery for an anterior cruciate ligament problem. He is likely to return to the pitch in the Spanish Super Cup, scheduled for mid-January 2026.
